FFI Code of Conduct

Members of the Association of Filipinos in Footwear Industries (FFI) shall adhere to the highest standards of professional ethics at all times. Specifically, members shall bind themselves to the following standards:

1). FFI members shall exhibit exemplary personal conduct and ethical behavior at all times. Wherever in the world a member is, he/she shall act in a dignified and socially responsible manner, respecting the local laws, customs and traditions, acting as ambassador of goodwill for the Philippines and showcasing the best in a Filipino at all times.

2). Members of the association shall deliver professional services or conduct their businesses with utmost competence and integrity, always striving for excellence in all that they do, fulfilling obligations and delivering commitments in a timely manner and, as much as possible, adding value even beyond what is expected.

3). Members of the association shall promote and protect the legitimate interests of their employers or customers, and shall safeguard and preserve the confidentiality of all business secrets and proprietary information.

4). Members of the association shall avoid circumstances where a conflict of interest may arise. As such, no member may offer, solicit or accept financial or other valuable consideration to or from any party, directly or indirectly, which is intended to influence professional or moral judgment.

5). Members of the association shall not misrepresent their professional education, experience or credentials.

6). We shall invest in the enhancement of our skills, abilities and competitive advantage, and as such shall commit to share and to support all legitimate programs and activities designed to achieve this objective.

7). FFI members shall help and support each other in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of this organization. Whenever and wherever opportunities for business, advancement or employment arise, concerned members shall share such information and, where possible, help facilitate the entry of qualified co-members who are in good standing with this association.

8). We uphold what is good and shun what is evil. We shall not knowingly participate or support any activity that is illegal, immoral or unethical, but shall support all agreed programs and activities that are good for the organization, for society and for the country.
